Dunvant Male Choir is delighted to announce that Charlotte Rose has been crowned winner of the 2026 YoungSinger Competition, following an outstanding final that showcased some of the finest young vocal talent in the region.

This year’s competition was widely praised for its exceptionally high standard, with all four finalists delivering performances of remarkable quality, musicality and stage presence. The adjudicator faced a challenging task inselecting a winner from such a strong field.

Charlotte, a 17-year-old student from Olchfa Comprehensive School, impressed both audience and adjudicator with aconfident and engaging programme that included:

  • Come From Away
  • Let’s Play a Love Scene
  • Fame
  • Girl in 14G

Her performance demonstrated not only vocal versatility and technical assurance, but also anatural flair for storytelling and connection with the audience.

The other finalists—Autumn Moloney, Max Morris and Samira Al-Barwani—also delivered memorable performances,each bringing their own unique strengths and artistry to the stage, contributing to an unforgettable evening of music.
