Ray Restall

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and past Chairman, Ray Restall, who passed away peacefully yesterday evening after a long period of ill health.

Ray, aged 87, had been living in a care home in Tumble.

A stalwart of Dunvant Male Choir since 1974, he served as Chairman, Committee Member, Life Member, and was a proud Top Tenor for many years.

Beyond the choir, Ray was also a long-standing member of Dunvant Rugby Club and the Dunvant Rugby Club Singers, as well as a former Chairman, Secretary, and leading light of the South Wales Maintenance Association.

We extend our sincere condolences to his daughter Claire, son Nigel (New Zealand), his brothers, and his sister Iris (Giles) at this sad time.
