New Chapter – New Musical Director

Dunvant Male Choir is delighted to welcome Lynne Griffin, who has recently taken up the role of Musical Director. With more than 40 years’ experience in choral music as a conductor, singer and music educator, Lynne brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the role. Her appointment marks an exciting new chapter in the Choir’s long and proud history, as she becomes the first female Musical Director since the Choir was formed in 1895.

Lynne is looking forward to building on the Choir’s traditions while exploring new musical opportunities and challenges for the future. Already embracing new musical challenges, the Choir is embarking on an exciting collaboration with a local rock band, bringing together two very different musical worlds.
