Musical Director Vacancy

Due to the forthcoming retirement of our Musical Director after 20 years of dedicated service, Dunvant Male Choir is seeking to appoint a new Chroal Conductor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the musical leadership of the choir, including, repertorie selection, rehearsal direction and concert preparation, working closely with the Committee and accompanists.

We are an established and committed male voice choir with a strong sense of community and a desire to maintain and further develop our musical standards.

Job Requirements

Applicants should have relevant experience in choral conducting, strong leadership and communcation skills and the ability to inspire and develop singers of varing experience. Awillingness to build on our existing repertoire while introducing new material would be welcomed.

Rehearsals take place twice weekly and the role would be offered on a self-employed basis, with remuneration agreed per rehearsal and performance.
