The choir are saddened to announce the death of faithful member, Dr Noel Davies (B1).

He had previously been Principal of Gorseinon College (now @gowercollegeswansea) before retiring in 1985.

Noel joined the choir in his 80s proving that the choral singing bug can be caught at any age. He remained with us until his 93rd year when, like so many others, the Covid lockdown halted his involvement in the choir.

Since then, Noel’s health has slowly deteriorated and he passed away peacefully in Ty Llandaff care home, aged 97, following a spell in Morriston Hospital.

Our condolences go to his children, and all of the family at this sad time. Details of his funeral will follow in due course. A lovely gentleman.
