Our finalists

The four finalists for this year’s competition were Amber Evans, Rhys Hunter, Naveen Kanamarlapudi and Erin Thomas.

The audience at Gowerton school hall were delighted with 4 brilliant performances from the finalists, and while the 2 judges, Ros Evan and Helen John deliberated on which of these worthy finalists to award the prize to, the Dunvant Male choir entertained the audience with their usual polished performance.

The winner

The winner of this close competition was Erin Thomas from Cardiff. Erin is in her final year at St. Michael’ School Llanelli. Erin achieved distinctions in both grade 8 classical singing and grade 8 singing for musical theatre in spring and summer of last year and is currently working towards a diploma at Royal Welsh College of Music and Dramas junior conservatoire.
