Dunvant Male Choir Young Singer of the Year 2023
Applications
We welcome applications to take part in the Male Choir Young Singer of the year. Entrants for each category must be within the age limits of 15 to 19 on the 28th January 2023 and must live or being educated in South Wales.
The closing date for entries is Friday the 20th January.

What to expect
Everyone who enters gets to audition in front of our judges
Preliminary audtions are held at Gowerton School on January 28th from 10am – 4pm.
The final will be held on the 24th March
On the audition day, you’ll be competing against other people in your age group and you will be asked to perform both of your entry songs.
You’ll get 10 minutes practice and then you’ll be performing live on stage either with your own accompanist or one of our official Dunvant Male Choir accompanists, in front of our judges.
You’ll be judged on 2 criteria, stage presence and of course, your singing talent.
For extra support, you’re welcome to bring along friends and family to cheer you on as you go for your place in the final.
